Pricing glossary
The pricing words you'll meet in Mirava, one short definition each.
Base price
A base price is what you charge in your home market, per product. Saving it changes nothing in the stores until your next price update.
Where you see it: On each product's page, where you set it.
Market price
A market price is what a store shows in one country, in its currency.
Where you see it: In every price update, one row per country for each product.
Strategy
A strategy turns your base prices into a price for every market. You save it once and reuse it.
Where you see it: On the Strategy page, and when you start a price update.
Method
The method decides whether each market gets its own price or a straight exchange-rate conversion.
Where you see it: When you create or edit a strategy, or start a price update.
Index
An index says how far each market's price sits from your base price. Pick the Mirava Index, a public index or your own price template.
Where you see it: When you create or edit a strategy that adjusts for each market.
Price template
A price template is an index you build yourself. Any strategy can use it.
Where you see it: On the Strategy page, in its own section.
Price update
A price update is a set of market-price changes you review and push to the stores.
Where you see it: On the Price updates page.
Automatic check
An automatic check runs a strategy on a schedule and drafts the result for you.
Where you see it: In each strategy's schedule. Automatic checks need Premium.
App Store price tier
An App Store price tier is one of Apple's allowed prices in a country.
Where you see it: In App Store price updates, beside each market's price.
Mirava Index
The Mirava Index is our per-market index of what buyers pay.
Where you see it: In your price audit, and as an index you can pick in a strategy.
